I enjoyed the first book in this series and cannot wait to read the rest of the series. This science fiction romance blends action and adventure with great characters. Crux was assigned to protect the ambassador. He swore it wouldn’t be a repeat of his last mistake. Annie was devoted to her job doing all she could to achieve success. It was more than challenging and it didn’t help there were those who didn’t want her to succeed. There’s danger and of course a love that will definitely catch your attention and keep you reading to find how it turns out.

I enjoyed this book as you craft such wonderous worlds in such minute detail like no other. It reminds me of Star Trek! Love Lisa as a kickass woman writer off on an amazing adventure and never afraid to speak her mind. Abalim and his brothers are interesting as they are ancient and wise yet childlike in new earthly trends. The whole concept of some aliens thinking they are the only ones worthy of overseeing every other being is so true of many beings in our world today! Throw in the spicy scenes, and we get a fantastic story!
