"The financial wrongdoings in this story could have been lifted from today's headlines. An attraction between a banking exec and an covert agent adds to the intrigue, esp. since the agent is an alien-hybrid. The reader is drawn right into the story when a banking merger upsets Julienne's organized life. Work becomes a dangerous place, when she discovers a money laundering scheme. Together she and Ben must get proof before they are killed."

Good Story
"This is the first book I've read by this author. The characters, Julienne, who's part of a management team that organizes merger for a large bank and a small bank. She uncovers a plot that will affect banking all over the world. Ben, is an Alien-hybrid and an empath. Julienne has been looking for her other half all her life. When she meets Ben she knows that he is the one. There are lots of misunderstandings, danger, twists and turns, action, romance, and lots more going on in the story. For a new author I enjoyed this story. Can't wait for the next story. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review."

"This starts out a bit slow with an easily envisioned storyline. Julienne is working at a bank that is in the middle of a merger. She’s rather dissatisfied with her life and sees a lot of problems that will have to be dealt with in the near future, which secretly is making her wonder if it’s time to leave. The supporting characters are well fleshed out, you can see them and they have definite personalities. Ben comes on board to help with the merger and the story picks up with a lot of twists and turns. There is way more going on than she can imagine. Misunderstandings occur but the majority of the story is way more complicated. A very fun read. This is a new to me author and I was very impressed with the story — well developed and good flow.
