Lok knows Althea is his soulbond the minute he sees her. He'll do everything in his power to protect her from the slavers that hunt her down. Althea is attacked to Lok. She writes a song and sings it for him. When slavers come looking for her, he tries to protect her, but she also tries to protect him. Althea is not weak in spirit. She's strong willed and determined. Both of these characters have been through the mill and are determined to be together as soulmates despite the forces trying to keep them apart. -Debbie123 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lok’s Love is a fast read that has a satisfying love story. It brushes on topics like rape, slavery, abduction, and gambling. I enjoyed watching Althea and Lok fall in love. It was a great example that you don’t have to be super young to fall in love or to purposely go out looking for it. If I had the opportunity to go on a love expedition where I fall in love with an alien, I would gladly join the voyage. Overall, it was a good read. -Cwawabear ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
